How It Works

Add the Google Sheets action to a form, connect your Google account in the pop-up and pick a spreadsheet and sheet. Epic Forms writes your field labels into the header row the first time, then adds one row for every submission. Rows are sent in the background after the submission is saved, so your visitors never wait on Google.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get Google Sheets?

Install the free Epic Forms plugin from WordPress.org, then download Epic Forms Pro from your Epic Forms dashboard and install it like any other plugin. Connect your Epic Forms account on the Epic Forms → Pro page and Google Sheets switches on with your plan. There is nothing else to download.

Is Google Sheets included in the free plan?

Google Sheets is an Epic Forms Pro module, included in the Pro and Elite plans. The Epic Forms core plugin remains free forever.

Do I need my own Google Cloud project or API key?

No. Epic Forms connects your Google account through its own Google app, so you only sign in and pick a spreadsheet.

What happens if Google is unavailable when someone submits a form?

The submission is always saved in WordPress first. The row is sent to Google in the background; if Google refuses it, the error is logged and your visitor is never affected.

Can I use Google Sheets with my existing forms?

Yes. Add the Google Sheets action to any new or existing Epic Forms form. Submissions collected before you added it are not sent to the sheet.
